Job description

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team at our world-class facility to support our growth.

Full-Time Position IMMEDIATELY available in Carson, CA. Compensation Based on Skills & Experience. Mountune’s engine shop has built and serviced thousands of high-performance, vintage, and racing engines over the decades and we continue to grow.

Strength A Plus In:

  • Solid understanding of basic and advanced automotive machining principles
  • Previous automotive high-performance machine shop experience with OHV, SOHC, DOHC, internal combustion engines.
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience as an Automotive Machinist.
  • Skilled at manual machine tools including mill, lathes, surface grinders, rod shop, hone, boring bar, head shop, etc.
  • Ability to analyze and comprehend balancing, blueprinting, custom machining, and assembly.
  • Proficient in inspecting, measuring, reading, and understanding critical engine dynamic specifications.

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of basic and advanced automotive machining principles.
  • Previous automotive high-performance machine shop experience with OHV, SOHC, DOHC, and internal combustion engines.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Automotive Machinist.
  • Skilled at manual machine tools including a mill, lathes, surface grinders, rod shop, hone, boring bar, head shop, etc.
  • Ability to analyze and comprehend balancing, blueprinting, custom machining, and assembly.
  • Proficient in inspecting, measuring, reading, and understanding critical engine dynamic specifications.
  • Racing or motorsport background preferred.
