Race Engine Assembly

We are looking for a motivated and experienced full time Engine Builder/Assembler to join our expanding operations. As an Engine Builder at Mountune USA, you will be part of a team of highly skilled professionals who are devoted to ensuring every engine we build performs to the highest standards of perfection. Experience with vintage and current engine types is a plus.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Assemble and build any type of engine designed, manufactured, or serviced by Mountune USA following industry standard assembly techniques
- Measure components to close tolerances
- Set and verify part clearances
- Verify conformance of parts to stock lists or blueprints using measuring instruments, such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers
- Accurate use of measuring equipment and the required hand tools
- Assemble systems of gears by aligning and meshing gears in gearboxes
- Crack testing of parts using non-destructive methods
- Engine build record keeping with component history data
- Other duties may be assigned
- Vocational or Associates in a related subject such as assembly, engineering, engine tech would be preferred
- Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of recent hands-on race engine or race engine sub assembly experience
- Must have full knowledge of measuring equipment, including digital height gauges

- Full-time: (40 hours) + occasional mandatory overtime
