MoFoCo 2021 Event Recap

MoFoCo 2021 Event Recap

On September 3, 2021, Mountune USA held its 5th Annual MoFoCo event at its motorsport development and engineering facility in Carson, California.

This was the event mountune has held since the last MoFoCo event on August 30, 2019, and the first time our facility was open to the public since April 2020. Mountune’s event team spent the weeks leading up preparing for the event including updating our showroom which had not seen any visitors for the last 18 months.

The centerpiece of the show room was the Sendy Club’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb 2021 winning unlimited class race with its mountune racing engine built K-Series Honda engine. We also had special deals and pricing for many of our most popular parts and accessories for those in attendance.

Every year at MoFoCo seeing highly modified Ford Focus ST/RS and Fiesta ST builds on display is an expected occurrence. This year we were excited to see the number of attendees who came to showcase their kitted-out Ford Ranger and F-150 Raptor builds powered by mountune EcoBoost engine upgrades.

The front of the building featured an immaculate European Ford Escort RS with Cosworth engine and an APG ProRunner Ranger which was upgraded with all of the latest mountune components for the 2019+ Ford Ranger.

Performance wheels brand Fifteen52 also joined in on this year’s festivities. Showcasing the Project 96 Honda Accord which was a collaboration build between Honda Performance Development, Fifteen52, and mountune--as well as our Shop Focus RS which was sporting a set of Fifteen52 podiums when we established it as the world’s fastest Ford Focus RS.

It was a pleasure to see and engage with so many familiar faces again and meet the newest members of the mountune community. The free event attracted more than 70 unique vehicles and brought all types of mountune enthusiasts together for a few hours. We look forward to seeing everyone again at next year's MoFoCo Event!
