President of Mountune, Ken Anderson, Interviewed by "The Drum"

President of Mountune USA, Ken Anderson, recently spoke with Ian Dickson, editor of Motul's The Drum, to discuss Robin Shute and the Sendy Club's success at the 100th Running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Race on June 26, 2022, where Privateer, Robin Shute, secured his third King of the Mountain title in a race car powered by a mountune built honda K20 engine.

The questions The Drum had for Mountune's President included:
  • MOUNTUNE DID THE ENGINE WORK ON ROBIN SHUTE’S PIKES PEAK WINNING WOLF GB08. CAN YOU TELL US MORE ABOUT THE BUILD?
  • DID YOU GET INVOLVED IN OTHER AREAS OF THE CAR BESIDES THE ENGINE?
  • WHEN WE INTERVIEWED ROBIN RECENTLY, HE TOLD US THE CAR HAD A SIGNIFICANT POWER UPGRADE. COULD YOU TELL US MORE ABOUT THE POWER OF IT?
  • ROBIN DIDN’T FACE AN EASY CHALLENGE ON THE HILL THAT SUNDAY. AS A TEAM YOU MUST HAVE BEEN REALLY PLEASED WHEN HE BROUGHT IT TO THE TOP IN FIRST?
  • WHAT HAVE YOU GOT UP YOUR SLEEVES FOR NEXT YEAR’S PIKES PEAK?
In the interview, Ken Anderson was quoted saying, "I wouldn't run any other oil in our pikes peak engine."
