At Mountune, we understand that the engine is the heart of any car. That’s why we take great care in building all of our engines from the ground up. While many engine builders simply bolt together components, we inspect, machine, and balance the entire assembly providing you with a true motorsport-grade blueprinted assembly with each engine build requiring 30-40 hours of labor.

We start by taking in new genuine OE base components such as the engine block and cylinder head and perform a complete pre-build inspection.
To ensure excellent gasket sealing, we de-burr all edges and then re-surface the head gasket sealing surfaces on both the engine block and cylinder head.
All rotating components including the crankshaft, connecting rods, and pistons are all dynamically balanced to Formula One standards at 0.5 grams. All critical dimensions such as bearing clearance are measured and set for optimized performance.
