Professional Motorsport Services

Mountune's proud heritage stems from a superb record of success throughout the world of motorsports for over 40 years.

Every lesson learned over that period, every race won, every design, every high-performance engine delivered, every component, contributes to that reputation. Yet Mountune has never rested on the past achievements and is always looking forward to explore new frontiers of motorsport engine development.

At Mountune USA, our passion is optimizing performance and we spend each day pushing the boundaries to improve on our performance products and motorsport engines. We've had the fortune of developing close relationships with a number of clients and motorsport teams to enable their performance programs and meet their engine development needs.

Whether you need to develop a new performance part or you need engines assembled and tested, our Professional Motorsport Services are here to help.

Engine Development & Machining Service

Mountune USA engine development services are the benchmark for high performance and motorsport applications. Our full range of services can help you spend more time at the track with reliable maximum power. Precision machining and assembly ensure you have unmatched reliability, efficiency, and performance.

We believe the foundation of any engine starts with the quality of machining. Our in house machining center features the latest equipment operated by experts. Including a Rottler H85A CNC Vertical Honing Machine and Rottler F69A - Programmable Automatic Machining Center. Mountune USA is capable of taking an engine from blueprinting and design to assembly and testing. Bringing each stage of the engine building process in-house has allowed us to maintain the quality that customers have come to expect from Mountune throughout the full build process.

Parts & Engine Restoration

Vapor Blasting is the perfect way to clean and prepare many types of engine components, suspension parts, castings, and other pieces when you want to retain the “as cast” look. The Vapor Blasting process cleans the surface like nothing else and creates the correct look and feel you want on your engine or other high-quality restoration. Vapor blasting is a less aggressive form of blasting in comparison to dry blasting, working just as effectively.

Component Design & Manufacturing

The recent addition of a Faro Design ScanArm to our collection has opened up a number of opportunities. With the ability to collect 3-Dimensional Scan data, we are equipped to measure dimensions for custom part development and compare parts to original drawings for quality control purposes.

Engine Testing & Data Acquisition

In order to ensure each engine meets our performance and reliability standards, we track and compile data with our Superflow SF-902S Engine Dyno.

Our SuperFlow SF-902S Engine Dyno features:

  • 15,000 RPM; 1,500 HP; 1,200 lb-ft torque
  • 3,000 gallon closed-circuit water supply
  • 27,000 CFM cooling fan and heat exchanger for water supply to allow for extended durability testing
  • Pressurized cooling tower for engine coolant
  • Electronic throttle actuator enables programmed test profiles and lap simulation
  • Programmable lap simulation profiles for throttle/RPM closed loop target control
  • Programmable limites (engine RPM, torque, temperatures, pressures, lambda, etc.) for soft/hard test abort sequences.

Facility Capabilities

Our 20,000 sq ft complex is strategically located in Southern California less than 15 miles from LAX and the Port of Long Beach. In-house resources include a Rottler H85A cnc automatic vertical honing machine and F69A programmable automatic machining center, a fully enclosed SuperFlow SF-902S engine dyno cell, and state of the art engine build shop.
