Our High Performance Lotus Twin Cam Long Block assembly is built around an all-new genuine Ford engine block and an all-new, motorsport-quality cylinder head to ensure maximum reliable performance. It is available in several configurations to meet your specific application requirements.
Key features include:
- Components: Forged pistons, connecting rods, and a steel crank, all balanced to F1 standards, with high-quality ARP fasteners used in critical locations.
- Assembly: Machined, balanced, and assembled in-house at our world-class facility by professional engine builders and machinists.
Displacement Variants:
- 1600cc: True-to-original and free-revving, ideal for light cars like the Lotus Elan.

1740cc: Provides increased torque, well-suited for heavier cars such as the Cortina.
Camshaft Options (Available for both displacements):
- 360 Option: Similar to the original Sprint or Cosworth CPL2 cam, offering great response, drivability, and a broad torque curve.
- 420 Option: Geared toward higher RPM performance.
- Cylinder Head: Features traditional Lotus Big Valve-sized valves with a matching valve train for each camshaft option.
- Additional Equipment: Includes a blueprinted oil pump, a modular water pump for easy servicing, and a new, traditional blue Lotus Cam Cover.
